The match was stopped twice. First after big pyro show just at kick off because of the smoke on the pitch. Referee sent players to locker rooms after just one minute of play. Second break happened midway through the first half when Ajax player Davy Klaassen was struck by an object thrown from the crowd. It left him in a bloody mess as the players were taken from the field once more. Ajax won 2:1.
