France: Derby du Nord

Over 37,000 spectators gathered at Stade Bollaert-Delelis for the "Derby du Nord" match.

The game began with a beautiful tifo displayed across three stands. The large canvas showed a knight with a shield in the colors of Artois defeating a knight from Flanders, with the message "Defend the honor of the fortress of the sources with pride" above them.

This is a reference to Lens' history during the Middle Ages, when it was known as Lenna Cas, or "fortress of the sources". The tifo extended over the Trannin and Delacourt stands, with the latter facing the Lille supporters and displaying the message: "You will always be in the shadow of our fervor"
