Lithuania: Basketball derby

This is the biggest sporting event in Lithuania as basketball is the number one sport in the country. Because of covid situation, the arena wasn't full and you had to wear face masks inside, but the derby was still intense. Around 5000 people in the arena. Actually, the day before, there was a youth derby in Kaunas, where Green White Boys (Zalgiris Kaunas) supported their youth

On the match day ultras of Rytas (B Tribuna) supported their players before the game. Here is video of meeting players before the game

Before the game Rytas fans also made a clown show for one Zalgiris player, because this summer he joined the rival team directly from Rytas. He got the nickname clown (not only because of the transfer but also for his actions in social media), that's why people got dressed as clowns and teased him before the game. B Tribuna also made a banner ''Project Marek - clown"
