Harald Fuchs was a member of the BSG Chemie Leipzig board and was member of the club since 1971! He was against the creation of FC Sachsen Leipzig, a club which was created after two other clubs merged. He left FC Sachsen Leipzig and helped to form the real BSG Chemie Leipzig again. He was a typical supporter who loved the traditions and history of his club, totally against the modernization of the football.
This season BSG Chemie Leipzig play in level 6 of German football. The club have a complicated history and restarted as a club in the lowest level back in season 2008/2009.
