Terrible season for CSKA Sofia, but supporters of the club showed great passion during whole season. Many spectacular pyro shows!
CSKA Sofia got eliminated in Europa League qualification by Zimbry. The first couple of games was without songs on home games as a protest against club owner Alexander Tomov. Reason was club closed Sector G for renovation and this took way to long time. After a while the sector was opened and fans celebrated with pyro.
Until the winter break CSKA Sofia had 12 wins, 5 draws and 1 lost match. Good attendance, pyro and choreographies. They even won the two eternal derbies!
After winter break they got 1 win (last match), 5 draws and 7 (!) loses. 10 games without a goal, total "anti-record". New scandals in the club, new management and coach.
They ended up without any titles and in the end they didn't even get new license for Bulgarian professional football or for any European tournaments. Now the club probably need to start up again in one of the lower divisions.
