UEL: Fans stabbed in Rome

Two English fans, aged 27 and 28, were stabbed and robbed in the center of Rome on the night before the Europa League match between Roma and Brighton.

The incident occurred on via Cavour shortly after midnight when seven masked individuals attacked the two English supporters, stabbing them and robbing them of their documents and wallets.

Both supporters were taken to the hospital, with one in yellow code due to three stab wounds in the left thigh, but both lifes out of danger.

Roma supporters have stated that they were not involved in the attack and it was done by a street thugs, and their claims have been corroborated by a restaurateur who raised the alarm and assisted the two victims.
